An accessible read, especially for those new to The Alexander Technique. Enjoyable narrative that informs while simultaneously delights.

This is an inspirational book not simply because of Gary's extraordinary cancer journey, but by the way in which he uses his situation as another opportunity to learn to live in the "present" incorporating Alexander Technique principles such as choice and embracing the unknown. One need not be going through cancer &/or have a loved one with cancer to enjoy it.

A very helpful and fun way to absorb one's comprehension of anatomy. Coloring uses a different part of one's brain to clarify and integrate an understanding of how bones, muscles and beyond coordinate together to function efficiently. A tremendous resource!

This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they’re a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still, treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.
The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.
Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.

A page-turner. "Unsmudged" is a story within a story. The reader is brought along with Nanette Walsh as the beautiful evolving relationship between herself and her mentor also becomes one of deep friendship.
